1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with us.

Certain words and phrases used in these terms are defined in section 13.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect once published. You should review these terms each time you place an order.

We recommend that you print or save a copy of these terms and any order-related emails for future reference.

2. Specification of Goods

It is your responsibility to ensure all measurements provided are accurate and taken in accordance with our Measuring Guide. We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect measurements.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation. You must check this carefully. As goods are made to measure, they cannot be returned for a refund.

All sizes and measurements provided by us are approximate.

Made to measure items are produced within standard manufacturing tolerances of +/-5mm. Orders within this tolerance are not considered faulty.

Images shown on our website are for illustrative purposes only. We cannot guarantee they accurately represent colours due to screen displays, match across separate orders due to dye batch variations, or reflect fabric texture or feel. We strongly recommend ordering samples before purchasing.

A free fabric sampling service is available. Samples may vary over time and may not show the full pattern repeat. Re-sampling is advised if time has passed since your last sample.

3. Price and Payment

Prices are those shown at the time we receive your order and may change at any time.

All prices are in UK pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

If a pricing error is identified, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order. If we cannot contact you, the order will be cancelled.

Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment has been received and the goods have been delivered.

4. Order Process and Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed only when we issue an order acceptance email confirming your order details and price.

Payment is taken at the time of order but does not constitute acceptance.

You are responsible for checking all order details upon receipt of confirmation.

5. Delivery

Delivery is available to mainland UK addresses. Other locations may be subject to additional charges.

Deliveries must be signed for by an adult aged 18 or over.

Delivery times provided are estimates only.

Do not arrange installation or take time off work until goods have arrived, been inspected, and confirmed complete.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including courier issues or adverse weather.

Risk passes to you upon delivery or attempted delivery.

Any damage or missing items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Photographic evidence may be required.

6. Substitute Goods

We do not supply substitute goods.

7. Cancellation and Returns

Made to measure goods cannot be cancelled, amended, returned, or refunded once ordered, except where goods are faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Non-made to measure goods may be cancelled within 14 days of receipt in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods, excluding any non-standard delivery charges.

8. Guarantee

All blinds and made to measure curtains are covered by a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

The guarantee excludes defects caused by fair wear and tear, misuse, non-domestic use, or incorrect installation.

9. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Our liability is limited to the replacement value of the goods supplied, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

10. MeasureGuard

MeasureGuard protection applies to made to measure blinds only.

Measurement errors must be reported within 14 days.

Incorrectly measured items must be returned unused at your expense.

Replacements will only be manufactured once original goods are received.

Replacements must match the original product specification, with size being the only permitted change.

MeasureGuard may only be used once per order.

11. Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Definitions

“we”, “us” or “our” refers to Jadeblinds.
“goods” means the products confirmed in our order acceptance.
“order” means a purchase made with us.
“you” or “your” means the customer placing the order.
